Homebased

A hip-hop trio straight out of the nation's capital, homebased is here to make their mark on the scene.

"Homebased hip hop. A collective consisting of Textstyle, Dynamo and Kane. We each bring our own unique perspective individual to our style. We're seven years deep and still digging. We represent ourselves and our peoples, nothing more, nothing less. Our roots are deeply strung to original, golden era hip hop. We've grown up on realism and truth and our music has adapted to this lifestyle. Our sound is organic and natural and our message is relevant to our surroundings. Homebased is simply no fronts, it’s all us. We believe in real life. We write real life."

“Rap is something we do, hip hop is something we live”

-KRS ONE

They've recently released a new mixtape called "Back Home". You can download it HERE and check them out at their
