Gold and a Pager is now one of my favorite new companies that have popped up in Canada recently. Here's the introduction Novel brought to the table for it.
Gold and a Pager is the project of 18 year old Shun Kinoshita, a Vancouver Island high-school student. Shun, being a fan of The Hundreds, Alife, Crooks & Castles and Supreme wanted to go out and start on his own endeavor. Initially just designing shirts for himself and friends, eventually evolved into something much larger. With the momentum gained from sales going up Shun experimented with the idea of doing a shirt for charity. He released a shirt titled “Give Big” which he sold around his school and gave all profits to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Following the success of his “Give Big” campaign he plans to do a similar project in the near future.
Gold and a Pager is a brand for people that want something different then the rest of the tees flooding the market. Shun hand designs all his shirts, he has always tried to design shirts he would see in a store and think, “I wanna buy this”, He designs things he likes, other people seem to love them, he’s content.
So they got their new Sonoma crewnecks and tees coming very soon. I also posted some of their older releases below as well. Check them out at their Myspace or on their blog.
