So, as promised, I'm giving you a little peak at what Buffalo has to offer the street enthusiast. I already covered their only streetwear boutique, Krudmart, last post, so I'll elaborate on the rest of Buffalo. I'm going to start with Walden Galleria. A really nice mall to start of with.
The two best spots there for clothing in my opinion were Metro Park and Urban Outfitters. Metro Park is a mall franchise with a limited number of stores across America. The one in Buffalo offered some streetwear pieces from Stussy and Obey along with pieces from True Relition, Ed Hardy and Affliction for the trendy crowd. The sale rack in the back had Stussy, Obey, and Upper Playground tees going for $6.98 to $14.99. There were also jeans from True Religion and Rock and Republic on sale.
Urban Outfitters, you know all about it. Good place to get streetwear, bad place for the streetwear industry. They didn't have to many shoes at this one, but the Vans collection didn't lack. They also had your selections from Nike Sportswear and Obey along with their conventional house brands like Hawkings McGill and BDG. Something otable was an entire table of Obama t-shirts from various companies including Obey.
Street Game was another notable store, probably the best spot for sneakers at the place. They had the Jordan 6/16, 4/19, and 7/15 Coundown packs going for $310 and a bunch of other sneaker rarities including some Air Max 95's, Air Max 97's, Air Max 90's, Dunks, Court Forces, and a lot more.
Macy's was a good spot for Levi's, offering a ton of selvedge pieces and a wide variety of premium denim. They also got a selection of LRG, but nothing too special, except for an IPOD VENDING MACHINE!!!
Against All Odds. They got a section of $10 t-shirts from PFK and LRG, along with a very nice collection of LRG all on sale. They also have some decent Adidas and Lacoste shoes and some good Levi's pieces.
They have a J.Crew store there too, incase your into that now after their New York store opening. I have to admit, their clothing's getting a lot more interesting with shoes taking shape of some classic Clark's and their overall clothing line fitting into something you would find at Nomad.
On that subject, there's a Clarks there with Wallabes and I think Desert Boots.
Finish Line, Foot Locker, Underground Station, and Journey's offer their normal selection of shoes with some decent sneakers from all around the athletic and skateboarding arena.
PacSun and Zumiez thrive there with their normal skate and streetwear selections.
GiorgioiBrutini is meant to be a formal dress shoe store but they snuck in a good selection of Creative Recreation's and Lacoste's.
That's the summary of Walden Galleria.
It seems to be a long post right now, so I'll cut it off here, and tell you about the outlets next time.
