Olympic Kicks A Tradition?

With the Olympics so close now, there are some people on the verge of excitement and festivities blooming around everywhere. Nike thought it wouldn`t be a bad idea to join in on the celebration and release some Olympic inspired dunks. It is nothing new for Nike, as they have released plenty of shoes in celebration of this sporting event, including the 2004 Olympics Dunks and the Olympic-inspired Jordan 6s.

This year for the Olympics, Nike is releasing a number of different collections in commemoration of the Olympics.

(Olympic Nike Dunk High One Piece)

More specifically they are releasing the Nike Dunk High Supreme Quilted Olympic Pack, consisting of the Nike Dunk Hi`s in 6 different colourways, each representing the colours of the Olympic rings and background.

The toungue labels display the 5 Olympic rings with the entire shoe made of patent leather. The shoes all contain the `Birds Nest Pattern` which resemble the design Of Beijing`s major Olympic stadium. The dunks will be released in red, green, blue, yellow, black, and white, the colours of the Olympic flag.

These Nikes are a part of the Supreme line so quality and exclusivity is to be expected. These shoes will only be available at a limited number of boutiques. If your in the Toronto area, Livestock will be releasing them, in addition with a lot of other sneakers for their 08-08-08 event.
