Congrats to Philly, 80 and 08

Congratulations to the Phillies for their second World Series Championship in their entire history. A 4-3 win over Tampa, Price couldn't do anything about it. Congrats Phillies, you earned 2008.

I kinda wanted Tampa to win, but the Phillies are cool and deserve much respect. 80 and 08 Champs. Funny how Eric Hinske was the final out.

Good Bye Yankee Stadium

As some of you already know, last night's game against Baltimore was the last game to be played in the House Babe Built. Where rich tradition has developed and many memories were had at. The stadium is now to be torn down, as the New Yankee Stadium will be put into commission. May the original Yankee Stadium live on in all our hearts.

Why Am I Sitting Right Under These Speakers?

So this past Friday, the same day Goodfoot released their shoe, Livestock released the consortium line and Nike Olympic Dunks, and the same day that Beijing released the Olympics, I went to the Jays game to see Cleveland release a whooping on the Jays. My friend hooked me up with free tickets. Thank you, you know who you are.

So before I went in to spend $12 on a small meal in the Rogers Center, I decided to grab a reasonably priced dinner before going in.

I remember when this GM contest display used to have a real car. I guess they finally figured out no one wants a car that's just been hit by a baseball.

Stay tuned for...

Yanks Grab Pudge

If you're familiar with baseball, you're probably familiar with Ivan Rodriguez. He's one of the best catchers that have played the game of baseball.

Yesterday, the star studded Yankees acquired another all star to their line-up. After Jorge Posada will undergo season ending surgery on his throwing arm, Pudge is coming in to fill in his spot.

Hopefully they can knock out those 4 games behind on their record, with Pudge on the team. Yet, seeing all the stars they already have, I don't know if the outcome would be any different.
